There are still a lot of I'm GONNA go people out there but I don't see registration forms. Next week at this time, I talk with the travel agent/hotel about reducing the number of rooms reserved (from 200 down to maybe 20) and about scaling down the number of days we have the meeting room, hospitality suite, etc. to fit what we can afford (based on the number of people signed up). So, you can say you are going to go all you want but as far as I'm concerned you ain't going unless you've sent in a registration form with your registration fee.
Time for everyone to anti up. Shortly, I will also be ordering the OUCH t-shirts for the convnetion attendees. This too will be based on registrations not verbal gonnas. Been burned too many times by gonnas. If you say gonna, back it up with some action.
Man, will I be glad when this crap is over. Any volunteers for next years Convention Committee?
