You said it better than I did. I received some e-mails from people who preferred not to reply publicly to my original post who expressed pretty much the same sentiments.
I would hate to see anyone whose sensibilities are a little more tender than mine give up on this group because of a bad first impression.
Hey, I work in a bar. I have not led a sheltered life. Swearing and raving and long threads involving personal vendettas don't upset me personally. But I'm sure there are sufferers out there who find that kind of thing distressing enough to go elsewhere, and I strongly feel that the more people we have accessing this board, the better the chance that some little tidbit of helpful info will pop up some day.
