I am not a doctor, but have experienced some of the same as you. After 15 years of CH they went into remission for 13 years. I did not have open heart surgery, but have had a couple of heart attacks. Shortly after some new heart medication is when the CH returned. My cardioligist as well as the Headache Clinic agree the heart medication could have been the catalyst for the return of the CH. By the two doctors working together they have been able to get the CH under control. (Atleast for now) I am still on the heart medication as they feel it is necessaary. To summarize it may be some of your heart medication that is triggering the problem. I originally thought this well a hell of a decision to have to make. (Die or live with CH) Fortunately with the doctors working together I did not have to make that decision.
