Have tried a lot of abortives in 27 years, but used full spectrum lights as the first preventive. That held them off for 2 1/2 years, had never gone that long and stupid me... thought they were gone for good. I found this site and was reading about the verapamil. Some with success and some without, in my case I tried it and its is working well. As an episodic you should research the info on preventives and check out the abortives. O2 seems to work for most people to kill the attack.
