You and I got off to a bad start, so lets do this again. Being confused about this pain is a good thing. It just makes us want to learn all the more. I met with another cluster headache sufferer today here in Phoenix where I'm staying with my brother. This woman is so brave. She's chronic like I am, but she has young boys to raise alone. I, at least, can keep to myself and not bother anyone. I started to feel the 1st. stages as I was siting in her dining room talking to her. You know what she did. Very quietly she had her sons turn down the t.v. and went to her freezer for the cold pack she keeps there for herself. THANK GOD, it went away and I was able to keep my dignity. The reason for this story is this. I felt really good about being near and around someone who understood. This is so important. You are among friends here. Linda
