I like your sense of humor.
I think you are a decent guy.
I have cared enough to call you on the phone.
I know you have big troubles and I think they include depression which is a very real disease, one that I don't make light of.
Your whining and venting has never bothered me in any way.
I will say this though - i think that when people express negative stuff about your perceived self-pity they may have your best interests at heart - I think they may be saying that you would be a happier person if you found a more constructive way to deal with your troubles. I personally think that you are in a place that does not allow you to receive this stuff in the way it is usually intended - to help you. Sorry for the anaysis but by your own admission you are clinically depressed. As I have told you I have witnessed this first hand and it is a real disease, one that needs treatment.
This is not a personal attack.
I still like you and I am your friend.
