Sorry about your headpain. Imitrex is very, very, good to me. I do the injections. They work in 2 minutes every time.
Prednisone is pretty heavy stuff and hard on the body. I know that when in cycle one doesn't really care about that, but that is probably why your doc is steering away from it.
It sounds like you have an informed and heads up kinda doctor. Be thankful for that.
