I have been reading these posts and not commenting, seeing that it's really none of my business nor am I in a position to offer a opinion about who should be working or who should be out on disability. Only the people who are suffering can make that call, only they know if they are able to work... only they know, no one else except possibly the doctors but I question that as well.
It makes me sad to see a fellow sufferer tell another to get over themselves and some complaining. As far as I am concerned and only being a witness and a loved one to a child who suffers each and every one of you have a right to complain when needed. Like many other things in life I can see that there are good days and bad days but the bad days are horrible. People who come here for whatever reason should be supported. If you can't support a fellow sufferer then I think the best thing is to keep quiet imo.
I am not a sufferer but I have seen the devistation that CH causes in my little boy. If he came here every day and "whined" would he be told to get over himself and stop compainine? I seriously doubt it, why should anyone else be different? The pain is the same, it's no easier to handle if you are an adult imo and most times it seems most of you all suffer alone but are fortunate to have this place. At least Stephen has us to care for him when he is suffering and *I* have this place to come to for him and for me.
He missed a lot of school because of CH, he tried to stick it out, ride out the pain, go to the nurse.
I don't know what I am trying to say, guess I am starting to ramble. It just saddened me to see someone get put down in that manner here.
