just for your information I too am chronic. I too have never left my little girl with sitters. I have my own business which I work from home so that I can be with her. I can sometimes work from 7-8 in the morning until 9-10 at night. If I'm not working that long on my business, I'm doing household chores too. My husband is a good man and he works long hours too, he doesn't need to be helping me with the house when he gets home. Our weekends I try to make family time. That's when we're not bailing our respective parents or friends out of trouble. Not police! LOL But car trouble, diy trouble, gardening trouble, et al.
Just thought I'd run that by you. :-)
BTW, if you and Carl and anyone else is entitled to their benefit money good luck to you. That wasn't the point I was making. I have no problem with people getting benefit. I'm arguing with my Mum whose severely disabled to apply for the benefits she's entitled to, coz she and my Dad have paid in for years and she qualifies.
