I no longer use any pain killers. I take 1200 mg lithium when I'm on cycle, and for break thru ha's I take 2 cafergot and breathe oxygen for 10 minutes. Almost always aborts the ha. The only success I had with pain killers was fiorinal and it was only good for taking the edge off, maybe knocking an 8 down to a 7 or six. Which of course is a long way of saying, I'm a firm believer in cafergot! pfd's to you.
