Can't help but notice that so many people are talking about a variety of pain killers, but no mention of cafergot or ergotamine, which are vaso-constrictors. That is to say, they, (supposedly) remove the pressure on the nerves rather than attempt to switch the nerves off. Is this because Cafergot is not popular in the US ?? Or because some of the new pain-killers are so good ... or what? I started on Cafergot nearly ten years ago, (my toes have NOT dropped off) and one, or a half, or one and a half tabs, per attack, (which is usually per day) keep me sane when I'm on cycle. Nobody else come across it? Or has everyone else given it up!!
