Annemarie, I know that Sumatriptan (Imitrex, Imigran) is blamed to cause rebounds of migraine.
However, since an untreated migraine attack can last for 2 or 3 days, and the half life time of Imitrex is around 2.5 hours, it isn't surprising if the same attack becomes active again. I wouldn't call this a 'rebound'.
