asking a tip to Las Vegas....neighbors....

when I will arrive in Vegas I'm not sure if it's better to use taxis or to rent a car for my trips.
(Wed to Mon, ACE offer me an Economy at the fare of 142$, other fares are higher, till Hertz at 230$).

What's your advice...Taxi or car rental?
