I was given 60 mg of prednisone, gradually tapering off the dosage by 5 mg per day to treat a severe case of the hives. I stopped taking it after about a week because I was feeling lifeless and dizzy and sicker than I was before.
I haven't taken it for a few days and I still have this crazy appetite and my face has blown up. I feel like my body is not my own. I still have a bunch of them left. I wasn't supposed to just stop taking them, but I couldn't handle the effects anymore.
How long does it take to get out of your system and get your face back to normal?
