I too have had terrible hives. Three doctors say I have an autoimmune disease and it could be sjorgens, could be hives, could be vasculitis. Who knows. But at any rate, I am on 10 mg of prednisone a day, have gained 35 pounds and am having difficulity getting it off. If I stop taking it I get hives, fever, and ache. I also have sore feet, dry mouth, and when the disease is more active my chest is heavy like I am getting a cold. Does anyone else have these symptons? Anyone else have weight gain?
