Thanks Nancy, for your reply. I am on 240mg/day of Verapamil, but (not to be gross) it has me locked up for days at a time... That almost sucks as bad as my headaches. I have tried glasses of Metamucil to get back to my regular self, but it's still a REAL PROBLEM. Therefore, I am reluctant to up the dose to 480mg as some suggest??? I have been lucky in that I have yet to experience anything over a 5 or maybe 6? I do seem to have less pain in the morning and it seems to slowly grow throughout the day from a 3 to about a 5 by bedtime. STRESSSSSSSS?????? Never heard of that causing Horners Syndrome, but then anything is possible. I am going through a lot of stress at work since my boss retired at the first of the year and I have been dumped a lot of extra work my way. I have also been stressing about applying now for his position along with other co-workers who have created an undesireable "battle for position" situation at work... Anyway, thanks a bunch for your thoughts and suggestions EVERYONE! Hope the change into Fall weather breaks the cycle. At least I live in L.A. where there are plenty of Doctors for second opinions, but the problem is they only give you "Seconds of their time" and it's not cheap! lol. Russ
