After my last cycle the nostril on the cluster side never did clear. Infection started and we just can't get rid of it. So the ENT doctor they sent me to feels it's time to go in and enlarge the sinus opening, flush it out and remove the turbines on that side.
I can't tell you enough how scary this is for me. When I had the cancer surgery a year ago it started up a cycle and I'm afraid this will too. Plus with him fooling around in there doesn't make me feel very good about that.
I guess I'm not surprised with the fear I've been feeling of a cycle might start but does it have to consume your mind so much!
Everyone around here I think thinks I'm nuts for worrying so much. It does make me feel like a baby for worrying a cycle is going to start but I just can't help it!!
The ENT doctor said, "hey this might help your clusters." I guess I must have given him a death wish look cuz he then said, "well, maybe not."
I'd like some prayers or good thoughts whatever is your bag. In a weeks time I should know if this starts a cycle......fear fear and more fearrrrrrr
