I have had sinus surgery in my 19, and after 5 years I started CH (then...not 5 minutes...).
Don't think that the surgery triggers the cycle. I'm firmly convinced (almost in my case) that sinus infection triggers a cycle.
And also...sorry... I'm convinced that sinus surgery helps (the sinus) for at least one year, then you are again at the start.
No good news for sinus but, I think, good for CH! :-)
