I have had same thing happen to me, although not in a few years....I also cannot stand the pressure in my head caused from riding amusement rides.....Going up high and then the pressure you feel.....it is a killer for me...Just won't even think of such a thing any more. Loved them as a kid,....but not in many, many years...

I too am one of those that must sleep with the window open.....Especially in the winter. My bedroom is usually so cold that you could hang a side of beef in....but it is worth a little discomfort opposed to a CH.....Guess that is one reason I have slept alone for so many years...Of course I sleep with an electric blanket, so I am fine with my door shut and the window open. There is no other way for me...that window must be open. I don't know the link, but there is one here. Summer months the air conditioner is on full blast and I don't always have to have the window open then. (By the way I am a very cold natured person - not a hot box).

Does anyone else have the problem with rides causing so much pressure that you get a CH? Or very high altitudes in airplanes...Bad, bad experience on a plane going to Dallas once that I would like to forget completely. I know one day my head with just burst....Maybe like those people that have spontaneous combustion and they just burst into flames from within that they are now proving to be true....That is going to be me some day......MY WHOLE HEAD WILL JUST EXPLODE AND EVERY ONE THAT KNOWS ME WILL SAY, "WELL, SHE TOLD US SO"!
