What Van Gogh actually suffered from was syphilis, at least it is argued. His creativity started long before that.
I am not creative at all during episodes. I wear blinkers and am focussing on nothing but riding out the pain.
My attacks are at night so I have all the day time to be creative in and I manage some, but not
my usual level.
