Paragraph 3 discusses OTHER, non-opiate treatments which frequently work and "should be" tried first.

Paragraph 4 tells us what Dr. Hurwitz sells:
"The practice offers Therapeutic Trials of Opioid Medication and Opioid Maintenance Therapy."

Additionally, if you go the Fees and Services page, you'll see no reference to anything except opiate treatments.

All of that is fine with me....the Doc has decided to limit his practice to one specific area---opiates for pain management.

My point is merely that this aspect should most definitely been taken into consideration by anyone considering Dr. Hurwitz et al. People whose entire livelihood (read $) is tied to ONE approach aren't likely to suggest that some other alternative would be a good approach for a specific patient. Kind of like calling a vinyl siding salesman and asking his opinion on having your house repainted.
