I have just been through what I can only describe as one of the worst experiences of my life. Last week on Tuesday, I tried a new coffee (not sure if this is a trigger or not). I've been working a lot lately and been under a lot of stress, so I may have had my head at an angle. I started to feel a little tingle on the right side of my head, but it went away so I dismissed it. Then, on Friday, I drank some more of the coffee. In the afternoon, my head started to feel numb and tingling. Saturday, my head was tingling and numb with these miserable bouts of pricking pain on the right side of my head. Sunday, I had similar symptoms. By Monday, as embarassing as it is to admit, I was convinced I was going to die and made an emergency appointment with my doctor. He gave me some medicine, convinced me that it wasn't serious and told me to come back if I wasn't better in two weeks. It's starting to feel somewhat better, but I have no idea what cause all of this. Will it ever go away? Are these the symptoms of any type of cluster headache?

Thank you so much for any information you can give me.
