What do we get from public awareness? How about awareness from the public? Yep-that would be the goal. To let people know what a cluster headache is. To make it as well known as migraines. To try to get off our asses and help ourselves get better medical treatment. To educate the insurance companies so we can get our much needed prescripitons filled without the constant hassle of having to explain why we need more imitrex, amerge, etc. Why we need an 02 tank. It's a helluva lot better than thinking I'm powerless so why even try.
You know what? Many people are out there working at this awareness, at educating the public for you. To help you.
