Kathi,

Hard thoughts to think...hard to address these feelings.

I can only speak about my faith in the fact that the good guys, powered by love... win...in the long run...every time.

My 14 yr. old son has Cerebral Palsy and cannot speak. He uses a computerized gadget to say preprogrammed words and phrases. When he recovers from his recent surgery I'll ask him to address your question.

I know he doesn't want me to go to work...he misses me.
He misses me when I leave the room with a headache.

Sometimes I don't leave. I take my meds and moan while doing those strenuous exercises (my most recent version of "the dance") with my O2 mask on while he watches and he laughs his butt off. We are both "distracted" from our personal demons in those moments.

My heart broke the day he said on his computer "I want to walk". That will never happen before his death. Seems my CH is gonna last that long too.

Adam and I pray for and receive the strength to simply find ways to "accept" the darkness in us and around us....and never miss an opportunity to walk in the sunshine.

DEN
