I was just researching RBC. the article that I read states that people that smoke or have lung disease etc.. have a higher RBC because (very laymans terms) your body is trying to over compensate for the CO in your body therefore making alot more RBC. It also said that if you were to donate blood it would decrease the level in your body, I unfortunatley can not donate beacuse when I tried they told me that I did not weigh enoughmst be atleast 115-120.
