Dear Tony, thanks for your response. To answer your question, I'm in Cupertino California (aka "Silicon Valley"), about fortyfive minutes south of California. These things began about two years ago, just after we moved here. I too, suspect an allergy related trigger, but from what I'm learning from you fellas (which just began last week), I can't draw any conclusions yet. I'm still pretty new at this (not the suffering, just the researching with the rest of you.) How long have you been going through these "Cerebral Kamikaze" attacks?? Does your doctor correlate it to the trigenimal nerve? Are you taking anything, and does it work for you? I've "aced out" in having a very, very helpful spouse who hangs in with me during these attacks, even when we geographically separated thanks to business trips. I'm on the phone immediately when one hits, and my spouse "talks me through them" with encouragement, understanding and pep talks about beating the attack. Does it hit just one side of your face and head? Forgive me if you've already told me these things - I'm just coming out of one of them, and I sometimes just don't remember - the pain is so intense I sometimes lose track of what I already know for a while. Thanks for your help, and anything I can do for your end, don't hesitate to ask. F.C.
