Thanks to all for your concern. It means a lot to me to know that you know exactly how it is. I appreciate the advice and will try to get more help at home. Still having the ch's. Listen to this one. When I went to my doctor the other day he seemed concerned and said that I shouldn't suffer from the pain and proceeded to tell me about fioricet and if that didn't work to call and he would prescribe stadol nasal spray. I've never had that before but am willing to try anything. The fioricet stopped the pain for about an hour. So anyway I call his office last Friday. No prescription. I call today. He tells me he doesn't want me to have all that medicine. (now he's the one who suggested it.) Then he changes his mind and says he'll call it in. I get to the pharmacy and he has called in darvocet. That does absolutely nothing for me. I call the office. It's closed. I get the answering service and leave a message. His nurse practitioner calls back and says he tried calling it in and that the pharmacy said its not made anymore because it's so addictive. Has anybody heard this? And did it help the ch's? Barbara
