I have used up to 8 injections per day with no adverse side effects. (8 injections one day and perhaps 5 or 2 the next) When I went to renew my perscription 2 weeks ago, I had mentioned this to my "new" GP. The only thing that he cautioned in that an extended dosage (more than 4 to 5 X's daily) could cause constriction of the vessels leading to a stroke. Please be cautious in using Imitrex as it is relatively new and if you are experiencing any adverse (other than than the "rush" which I find discomforting). Let your Dr. know.....
