I have never heard of a cluster attack lasting much more then 3 hours. Less time is typical. I have seen Dr.s misdiagnos clusters thinking that if it lasts a few months it is clusters. They do not understand that a cluster is an attack of pain not an ongoing pain. I have suffered migraines most of my life and still do. Sometimes they will go weeks on end with several cluster attacks on top of the migraines. They are very different. I think that clusters shouldn't be called headaches at all rather a severe siezure of pain. Check your dignosis with a good Neuro that works with a lot of cluster patients. If they do end upbeing migraines they have so many new treatments that most people if they pursue can get substancial relief. Also read the info on this board to look closer to see if most of your symtoms match clusters. I hope that you find something else wrong. Thanks Mike L
