A very good headache book (in Dutch) also warns against cramped poses of neck and head while making love. If you don't alter your posistion and give your neck muscles some release, you'll get a raving, blazing headache afterwards, lasting hours!
So it sounds very believable. It is also a pain that is responsive to treatment - which we cannot say of CH. So your friend is very lucky.
Also lucky in having you for a friend, incidentally!
