I need to have the old gall bladder removed. Have had
three attacks in the past two weeks. They're pretty
painful, but I'm a tough old gal.
I'm supposed to have surgery as soon as I can arrange it,
but I am scared to death. Not of pain, but of being put
to sleep. Stupid? Sure. Logical? No. I just need to
be in control of my body and somebody will take that
away from me. I know exactly what will be done to me,
but that doesn't help. I know I will be better within
a week, but that doesn't help either.
Oh well, I know that I must deal with it as I have no
choice.
If you are a praying person, please say one for me.
