That's one thing you will want to gloat about a bit, later on.
Think about the hospital that did the surgery. Don't you want to be abusive about it, tell other people how horrible it is? (I quite agree with you, btw)
Don't you want to set out lines from now to "a bit later"? Don't you want to be able to tell people on this MB about your experiences, to share your knowledge, to console them, to help them?
I just mean, not only are we here for you, you are also here for us, and if you go, we will miss you and miss you...
I have been there, I have done that and I am incredibly lucky to have failed, to be still here 35 years later, to be able to tell other people how precious they are.
