Linda,
I can't say for sure about the month before, but, I do remember early on when I first had clusters, I would be trying to read and an attack would start. After this happened
a few times I assumed my right eye couldn't handle straining or concentrating that much. So I taught myself to speed read. Read some stuff about it and started doing it. Might
take a little practice but isn't that hard to do.
At first I was hesitant. Thought I would miss to much of message, story, whatever. To my surprise, not so. Sometimes I may miss something but hasn't caused any major problems.
If you read for enjoyment, I'm not sure it would be any fun. I do think there may be some corelation between the eye on the affected side and concentration, things like that. Trouble
is that is only my theory. If there are no statistics and it isn't printed in a medical journal, somebody will find something wrong with it. All I know is, during my waking hours, if an
attack starts or a shadow increases, I definately take note. If a pattern starts to develope I change it to the best of my ability.
Wishing you PFD@N.
Larry
