I have just read that one of the few events that can cause
damage to the pituitary gland ( and thus effect the hypothalamus)
is a difficult birth.
Since we've already discussed accidental head injury (not a
common factor of ours), perhaps we should quiz on long labor
and/or difficult deliveries.
My mom is no longer living, so I can't contribute to this,
but you younger folks can.
