Does anyone out there ever have cluster headaches taht run together? Recently I have been having headaches that last forever - like eight or nin hours of extreme pain! The thing is, part way through the headache will start to lift, I'll get up and start to do something and then a new wave will hit me and it will be another four hours or so before I'm free again. It seems kind of like in labor when the labor pains start doubling up on eachother. Does this happen to anyone else or am I crazy of experiencing something that I should have checked out?
Also, are any of you out there on prednisone? What are the side effects and how do you know how long to stay on them? My doc (soon to be former doc:)) has put me on two week taper packs of steriods which she seems to think will stop the cluster, but they only work while I'm taking them. I'm thinking of insisting that I be put on prednisone for the duration of my cycle. Anyhow, thanks for any input!
