After another ER visit, Doc put my husband on Depakote, 800mg IV then 250mg pill about 2 hours later then sent us home. He starts on 125mg 3x a day. This was just a horrible day, After 4 CH in 24 hours (& 4 imitrex injections) our doc said to go to ER and he will put him on Depakote, when we got to ER he had a wicked CH, they gave him demerol,Ativan, and finally morphine through the IV before they could start him on the Depakote, just had to lessen the pain. We are now home and just hope this new med works.
Please tell me good things about it......
