I'm a cronic, I was put on 1,000mg depakote, 50mg Topamax, & 9mg melatonin daily about a year ago, this keeps them down to shadows most of the time with #10s only a few times a month. For a cronic thats not bad. I have been on as high of a dose as 2,000mg of depakote when the #10s were 4 to 6 times a day. After 3 months I developed a tremour and they reduced the dose. (At that time I was not on the Topamax )Good Luck
