I did the test and come back migraine/cluster. So how do you tell the difference??? HA HA
I think I have had every test and medicine imaginable. I can't take the calcium channel blockers because of asthma, can't take the imitrex injections because of hives, breathing.I have taken all the preventive medicines..that were just a waste of money, they didn't cut down the number of headaches. They have tried stadol nasal WICKED STUFF YUCK and no relief. I have also gotten thorazine IV in hospital .. Thought they were gonna have to peel me off the ceiling. HA HA . So it seems like all they want to give me is the "old" medicine and when that don't work, i get shoved from doctor to doctor and playing rusian rullet with the medicine. If you go to the E.R. they think you want drugs. (hate to tell them I have all the Narcotic's I could want at home) But if you say anything they refuse to even give you a shot and send you home. But I know of people who go into clinic get shots and go to e.r. same night for another shot and this goes on for months and nothing is said. Go figure!!! That makes me mad because I go in only several times a year, I usually just try and deal with it. The doctor's around here just think a headache is a migraine and no such thing as cluster headaches. I have seen every neurologist in town and am unable to travel out of town due to physical condition's and money. I am currently on SSD.
