While there are posts from many others who have had spectacular success with this therapy, I usually refer people to Stavi's post because it is so well written, and there are many replies with more information in the same thread. You should also load the archives for July 21 to 26 of this year for more discussions on this treatment that are not in the same thread. There are several very interesting posts, especially post number 57757, which describes a research project that is in the planning stages.
If you choose to grow your own rather than try to gather them wild or purchase some on the black market, I strongly recommend checking out http://www.shroomery.org ... there is an incredible amount of information at that site regarding every aspect of growing mushrooms at home.
Another Texan, Q, has just posted an update, seven weeks after trying this therapy. Q is a long-term chronic, and probably underdosed his first time around, yet still has confidence in this treatment.
