Hi, I am 26 years old and have some type of inflammatory arthritis. I have been tested for RA but the tests are negative. I just know that since I was 14 I get severe aching in my joints, especially my shoulders and knees. This usually happens several days before rain comes. The pain is really unbearable sometimes and it's hard to get out of bed. Doctors have tried several different things but nothing seems to have worked. I have used Prednisone about twice a year (only taking it for 6 days each time). The results are amazing. The pain goes away after only one day of dosage and I feel like my age again. My doctor is really careful however about how often he will give it to me because of all the long term side effects. I wish there was something else that made me feel as brand-new as the prednisone. If anyone has a medical condition similar to mine and has found a drug that works almost as well as the prednisone. Then please write me and fill me in. I would appreciate it greatly. THANKS!!
