My husband is on several medications to prevent,stop and dull the pain. We went to the neuro the other day who prescribed topomax (#6) to his diet of medications. Today, his sister (nurse) called, after finding out about the additional med and was furious. She was told that I found the med at this message site and that on my recommendation the doctor wrote it. I realize that his family is very concerned for him as well as I am, but nothing as 100% worked. At this time, he is down to 2 CHs a day rather than 6-8. He is not so violent with them anymore, I think because of the prozac. But they aren't here when he has one, they don't see the pacing, screaming,smashing of things along with the threats and their kids are being awakened by the above. HELP. I feel although she is a nurse, I'm a little more versed on this condition. I read absolutely everything I can get my hands on........
