I take 1,000mg Depakote, 100mg Topamax, 9mg melatonin as preventatives. They are working pretty well right now, keeping them down to jabs for the last week. (just had my topaxax increased from 50mg to 100mg). I'm a chronic for the last 2 years.
I take Maxalt to STOP the attacks, works really well for me.
