Thanks Again, Bob for turning me on to Maxalt. I use the MLT now, and it is the most effective abortive I have found. Used in conjunction with O2, it works within 5 min, as long as I get to the CH in an early stage. If I am awakened with CH, the process takes about 15-20 mins, then seems to work fine, with the only side effect being feeling a little "ampy". Luckily, my ins company is owned by Merck, so I have no problem getting 36 tabs/month which is their limit, considering it is so pricey! Maxalt also seems to limit the # of episodes to 1 every other day, instead of the usual 3-6 daily which has been a greatly appreciated by-product of using this drug..thanks again!
