Hi, I live in Pasadena Ca. I'm pretty frustrated with my HMO service provider and my neurologist. Anybody out there have a neurologist in the LA area that you just love and would highly recommend? I hope to make a change soon.

I'm a chronic CH sufferer. My attacks started in March after a remittance of about 13 years. Back then, in my early teens, I had several attacks a day for over a year, my only treatment then was LOTS of Advil and a great chiropractor. My current headaches seem to be more intense, they wake me alot in the night, and if not for the Advil (1-2 every 2-3 hours, plus taking them if I wake in the night) I would be on the floor probably half the day with multiple attacks. Of course, the Advil doesn't stop all of them. Anyways, this website is the FIRST that I've heard of these medications for aborting attacks, though my neuro diagnosed me with CH several months back. He just doesn't seem to be bothered that I'm in pain, and gosh, every doctor in this provider group seems to work so SLOW. Any help would be appreciated, then maybe I can get some speedy action on trying medications till something works. Thanks alot.
