I have experienced the same thing and I wear a splint at night for this which helps. The drs. are not sure if it is all cluster pain or if it because I had trauma to my jaw due to a car wreck. Before the car wreck I had some jaw pAIN WITH CLUSTERS BUT NOT AS BAD AS AFTER. dON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL HELP YOU but I hope so. I don't know why the splint helps but maybe it is because it helps rest my jaw at night. Nancy c
