no... this was NOT an imitrex shot... it was
something like a Nerve block. I've done the imitrex
shots... and they are given usually in my thigh. This is
done by the neuro who does something like a nerve block.
It's different. So far, it's okay. My attacks are much shorter...
and tamer... and oxygen works again on them. In two weeks, i go
again. I am suppose to call my neuro on Tuesday and i will ask him
what this shot is called. It is delivered in the back of the head....
but to a place that it doesn't go thru the skull... a soft spot.

it's new. And it has some suprising results. My neuro said, in some instances,
if you get them done... every two weeks during your "cycle" you can actually NEVER
have them again! But... it also doesn'twork for everyone. For me, it only lessons
the severity because they were become unmanageable. No oxygen, no imitrex, nothing worked.
Not the highest dosages.... nothing. So... This nerve block shot.

I will post on Tuesday what my neuro says. By the way, i know it was very expensive, you
have qualify by having so many attacks at such a high rate of pain... with nothing else
working. Imitrex couldn't touch it. Something new.
