i just had a damn septoplasty last monday.. am feeling okay i guess.. after 6 days.. i used the pain medication for the first few days, and that was it.. sure sucked pretty bad for those first few days.. was happy as hell to have that packing out.. you were right about that.. it felt good in some kind of sadistic way.. and wasw followed by magnimous amounts of flowing oozee.. pretty cool. i have pretty much a chronic headache now, and have a dr's appt on tuesday.. he is goign to clean out my nose or something.. i dont know.. i had the initial packing taken out the day after surgery, but after reading online about septoplasy, i think there may be more things he will be pulling out of my nose.. time will tell.. it does feel pretty pressured up there..
he took out a bone spur, and an upper and lower turbinate, and also and iquote him "used a chisel to thin out my septum". Boy was i happy to hear that.. not..
anyhow.. i did the surgery.. i am a dihard athelete, adn want to get back ASAP.. like i am thinking about starting tomorrow.. but will see.. at least some strectching or something..
can you offer any advice or anything on recovery, further office visits? etc.. it is sensitive to touch, i hope that clears up before 6 months..

i hope all this crap was worth it.. was it worth it to you?

also, i have nightly fevers, where i wake up sweating etc.. and i am really hot.. like my temp is way up, and it seems to come and go in waves.. did you have that? i normally drink cool water and it goesaway, or i take a damn pain pill.. i feel weak for taking them.. but what can i do?
