New to this site but not to clusters. In the past I
basically grinned and beared it when I am in an episode
(bi-yearly June-ish, 2 attacks/day). This year with web browser in
hand, my mother's prescription writing authority and
decent prescription coverage at work I decided to medicate.
Didn't want to use anything too heavy-duty so I opted for
the abortive strategy and got some Imitrex nasal spray.
Lo and behold it worked like a charm through the first
several doses. Now it still works beautifully at night
(2AM) but during the day (1PM) it doesn't work. The night
attacks are generally relatively mild while the daytime
ones are screamers of long duration. Has any one had a
similar experience with Imitrex? Does anyone know why this
might the case? Is zomig out in spry form? Thinking about
rotating.
