It's interesting that in this section which I quoted Mathew repeats material which I've seen from European sources to the effect that ergotamine doesn't cause rebound in cluster(as it does with migraine).

Everyone who reads these messages needs to be aware that there is sufficient individual variation in response to any drug to make any recommendation a highly personal one. That is, part of getting on top of CH is a willingness to try different drugs, varying doses, and combinations of meds to find that which works for our body. Surely it is part of the frustration of CH.
