I usually get relief within an hour from Imitrex, but christ does it take me down.. just completely wrings me out and I sleep like the dead for a few hours. I didn't have any trouble with rebounds after an injection up until the last two tries - but there was a difference in when I took it. Normally I wait until the screaming, crying, and headbanging stage before I'll shoot that shit into my body. The last two times, I didn't wait that long... so it may be my own fault.
Maybe try the nasal spray instead of the injections?
